Welcome to another episode of the NPK Talk Series, where you get the latest happenings in the NEAR ecosystem. Here are the major highlights for the week;
· New projects are being built on NEAR ecosystem. Among them is Tether and Circlepay which promises to grow NEAR more robustly in the future.
· An app with the name “Waka” was created, and this has brought viable solutions to solve the issues of small communities regarding Web3.
· Nightshade V1 Mainnet has officially launched with the introduction of the Chunk-Only-Producers –a new way for the community to secure and further decentralize the NEAR network.
· Nearlend DAO will release Public Testnet this October with the primary goals such as fixing bugs and upgrading the UI/UX of the Nearlend DAO.
· Stader is deploying a multi-layer security program to bring the most secure liquid staking solution to NEAR. The upgraded NearX brings strengthened internal security processes and new audits to make the protocol stronger and safer.

· Unique One Network offers a novel means to secure Metaverse lands in a flexible and scalable manner via an exciting and innovative staking mechanism for Metaverse land leases.
· NEAR offers multiple funding options to support initiatives aimed at decentralizing and growing on NEAR. Stay tune as update details about the criteria on getting sponsorship from NEAR will be out soon.
· NEAR Insider is in partnership with NEARFi wallet. This will enable NEAR holders to interact with all Defi services on NEAR blockchain on mobile.
· Pantera will be one of the new projects’ judges and potential investors for Pitchtalk. This will help scale NEAR Protocol and Aurora ecosystems growth.
· Sweat Economy is dropping an exclusive NFT collection with Paras. An exclusive collection of 888 NFTs will be available in the new Sweat Wallet and winners of the reward will receive one exclusive NFT.
· $USDT accounts for the most significant part of TVL. Next, there will be the launch of USDC and USN shortly.
· NEAR Foundation partnered with Goggle Cloud. Goggle Cloud will provide technical support for NEAR grant recipients, as it is open, and developer-friendly, and also support developers as they build /scale their Web3 projects and dApps.

· Despite a slight decline in the market cap, NEAR TVL in September witnessed a significant increase compared to August reaching $400M.
· Taking a look at NEAR revenue over the past 30 days, the total revenue increased significantly by over 62%, reaching $99.8K.
· PitchTalk is being backed by Genblock Capital. Genblock Capital will take a direct part in PitchTalk being a judge and potential investor to projects incubated on PitchTalk.
